I log onto the internet for say an hr or two then come off sometimes leaving a page site open sometimes not, leave the computer like that for 30min or so then go back on the net, It lets me log back on to my ISP but thats all. Can't log on to Any sites check my email or anything just says server not found the only way I can get back onto the net is to close down the computer switch of my Modem and then restart everything again.
Then we're back to normal.
Anyone got a clue as to what going wrong Running Windows xp with a 1700 atherlon 512megs ddr ram.

I bet that is your ISP that is starting to suck big time. when i had 56kbs, my ISP also had things like that from time to time...try to change isp's and see what happens..if that shit starts again, then it's your modem that has some kind of problem...if not, glad u changed your isp.

when you go back on and its not letting you go to any pages. Try repairing the connection. XP has a "repair" button that atleast works for me when I am in this similar situation.

thanks boys it's not my Isp I've tried another one same results bmxjt can I ask you where do i find the repair botton have had a look prob not looking in the right place.:(

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
