Well no, gaming would be a "side effect" as it's upposed to be for boring old work - just lugging files around and running xls etc...

but I'm gathering that it wouldn't run UT2k3 very well?

Not with onboard shared graphics.
A friend of mine has a 2.2GHz P4 laptop with shared graphics, it will run UT2003, just dont expect it to be impressive at all

I haven't tried gaming with my new laptop (integrated graphics chipset), but it's just for web browsing and word processing. But that sounds like a great deal, I wish I could have gotten one like that. The HPs though look so....much like a UFO. They are wonderful machines though!
