Stupid IE wont keep its settings

ie: history keeps defaulting back to 20 days
ie: personalized favorites wont hold

anyone know how to fix it ?? please this is driving me nuts!!!!!

Im just curious you installed any plugins for IE lately or anything that integrates itself??

Funny thing is this started the first time I installed the sp1 1106 beta at the time .... I am gonna format in a day or so anyways so I will see if it is still the same

was just hopein someone knew a quick fix

Allready used my slipstreamed cd and did a repair on this and it works fine a clean install is just to clear out junk thats piled up over time iether sp1's and tons of software that I tested and removed after a while , maybe some leftover .ddl's from sound drivers , vid drivers , seeing as I always fiddle with those all the time I am not worried in the slightest about sp1 and xp
