Thats a good idea!!! Now how do I make one to shut the computer down?

Target for shutdown shortcut:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\shutdown.exe -s -t 0

Note, you will still have to manually turn off the power.

the QUICKEST shortcut for shutdown with auto power off.....the power button.

If you have a ACPI compliant bios and an ATX power supply you can change the way your power button works. you can even set it so it just restarts the computer....it's alot easier to configure and use then any shortcuts :p

this is for you bishop...right click anywhere on your desktop...you'll see a dialoggue that asks for a target...cut and paste the target from here to there...make sure which shortcut you want, or use them both

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
