The EXACT steps to install EZCD5

Can someone give me the EXACT steps to install EZCD 5 on XP without it not recognizing my burner? I have nero installed already, but i wanna have EZCD PLatinum on here too. last time i tried, my cd drive dissapeared and i had to reinstall windows XP
