I live in an area technology has bypassed and am stuck with dial-up ISPs.

I need to dump AOL and was going to switch to Earthlink. When I started to install Earthlink, I got a warning message that is may not be compatible with WIN XP.

NE1 using earthlink dial-up with XP? Working OK?

I use earthlink dial up....there is a lite version for download on earthlink.net site...version 5.07 afterdownload just install it shouldn't be a problem except if there are no local #'s for you to use....pm if you have questions re/ earthlink...i've been using it for about 3 years pretty comfortable tearing it down and rebuilding it..or just post it here

if you could just make a regular dial up through netwrokign in windows, the software that comes with most isps jsut allows them to d/c you when you are downloading or are away form your comp, just write down the number for your area code, and useulay your email is your true user name, or use dial gaurd, theres a link to it here http://www.dreamcastfun.com

my user account is set to use opera as the browser and office xp's outlook for email...but I use the default software for my wife and kids...want it one click simple for them.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
