taskmanager tough one

cleaning my sisters box

over 2oo infected files by trend

removed klez

can't load avg... don't know if it's a virus preventing it, bt can't laod it

can't delete the fles in my screenshot, they're in use

can't open taskmanager

what next?

remove that from safe mode (f8 after the bios screen)

well, I can't paste i safe mode, I was hoping there's another way to open taskmanager

maybe I'll download apm

easiest way into safe mode btw is through msconfig, boot.ini.

you can rename taskmgr.exe to taskmgr.com and it will open

have a look through the run section in the registry
see whats loading at startup
anything your not sure of ~ do a google search for it
just delete anything nasty
if it cant run its useless
