System Restore

Does anyone know why i can no longer do a system restore . Every time i try the computer tells me that no changes have been made to the computer so the restore cannot be completed. There have been lots of changes made and that's why i want to do the restore !
I am running XP.

If everything is working OK except system restore that is then turn off system restore. Right click 'my computer' then left click 'properties' select 'system resotre'. Turn it off. This will delete ALL restore points. Reboot & turn system restore back on. This will create a new point. (be patient) System restore should then work again from that piont onward.
