System price?

A friend wants to buy my system, just the tower.


How much does everyone think it is worth.

Arctic Cooler 64 Pro
1Gb OCZ Platinum PC3200 2.2.2.5
MSI Neo 4 Platinum

The whole system runs quiet. I have removed all my heatsinks and lapped them, on the CPU, GPU, Nfarce chipset, and Vregs on the graphics card.


What do you think is fair if I redo his setup and move all his files and have a complete working system?

Taking into account that the system is used and somethings are no longer available. I'd say between $500.00 and $600.00 would be fair for the hardware. Maybe $450.00?

As for labor. He is your friend. I have a a difficult time charging close friends for this type of thing (hell, I gave my best friend a computer for free). I think a 30 pack and dinner is fair. Or $50.00. *shrug*

No new system, yet. Instead my wife got a new set of Bosch washer and dryers, a new house, paid for her car, two student loans.



I was thinking no upgrade this year, but........


A core 2 duo and was thinking about a new R600 card, but with all the DRM integrated bull****, no thanks.
