Sys restore help please :)

hi there

is there an option in the registry that mayby turns off sys restore

everytime i try and create a restore point i get the message " sys restore is not able to protect our pc please restart and try again "

sys restore is on in the controlpanel

Go to System Properties - System Restore and turn OFF System Restore. Reboot. Go back and turn it on again. Reboot.

I know it's silly, but it should be working now. Let me know if it isn't.
