Syncing Itunes

I have an Itunes install which has around 30gigs of music all tagged, album art, ratings, etc. What I want to do is sync all this data with Itunes on the same computer but on a different install. One is on Vista, the other on Windows XP. I still use XP for gaming. Is there a way to do this?

Can I perhaps open my library in my Windows XP Itunes install and keep my preferences?

You could change the music library path to point to the WinXP location or the other way around. If you just copy the music library into the right place iTunes will have no problem. I've migrated my music library between machines and OS upgrades by just copying all the files back in. My iPod didn't even detect a difference in its sync source when I moved it from one machine to another.
