Sync Data Transfer in XP?

Does anyone know how to turn on Sync Data Transfer in Windows XP? In Win98 it would be in the CD-Rom properties with Auto-insert notification and some other one.

As far as I know the option of using sync data transfer has been removed...it became pretty much useless nowadays because all the components are fast enough that they don't have to worry about one outpacing the other.

Is there something specific you were looking to use it for?
