there is an update for syagate pro but when i d/l it. it directs the file to my system 32 folder. whats wrong with this? and should i uninstall sygate then install the update or what? thanks in advance.

I don't understand the initial part of your question but yes, you can install it overtop of your old installation and it'll run an update. Of course you need to shutdown Sygate before updating. It'll update and you shouldn't need to reboot. Then restart it if it doesn't start by itself.

when i click to download it the directory that pops up to save to is the system32 folder not the desktop. when i click to save to the desktop it says its not available so i then try to d/l it to my documents but when it finishesits not there. thanks for the replies.

its probably saved under a diffrent account, check the path C:\Documents and Settings. each folder in there has its own my doc's

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
