I believe they are trojan/DoS and the like signatures so sygate recognizes them 🙂

I guess you're right about this, when updating signature, it tells only about trojans signatures... 😉

such a shame sygate cannot auto check for updates.. well i know it does every time you reboot, but my server gets rebooted once every 2 months or so

well sometimes im away from the server for weeks at a time, would be nice if it auto updated the trojan signature itself, just like my AV can check for updates on intervals

yeah cuz if you trust your firewall to update itself when you push the button whats the difference if it did it on its own. if you can't trust your firewall i think your pretty screwed. 😛

Don't know if it's the lastest update, but the other day, Sygate Pro (latest version, 5.5.2525) kept crashing and wouldn't restart (even after reboot)... Had to uninstall it and reinstall it. It's ok now 😉
