Hi guys,

Here's the deal. I have 4 HD's. 30GB/40GB/2-60GB. I partitioned the 40GB into 3 parts and kept the rest as is (for storage mostly). So I formatted my 40GB and designated 10GB for XP and split the remainding 30GB in equal shares. I went and cleaned my computer out so I had to disconnect everything, but when I reconnected, upon boot it said there was no OS found :wtf: ?

I had to put in the XP cd and boot from the cdrom. Once I got to where it asked what partition I wanted to put it in, I SAW THE XP PARTITION!!! Sadly this is not the first time it happened to me.. so my question is: What the FOO happened ?!

something somehow modified your boot record...next time it happens boot from the XP cd. Go into the recovery console and type

FIXBOOT, that should help
