Providing I have suffcient memory, if I create a RAM drive can I load my swap file there instead of a HDD?

At work we have pretty crappy Compaq pc's. Anyways, they have 256mb of ram. We work almost exclusivly on a very large database. The admin, in his infinite wisdom has decided that it's best to set the page file to a min size of 347 and a max of 450.

I tired to explain it to him, but he just thinks of me a low life because I'm not a Sys Admin. Heh, I know I know more than he does by far...

And did I mention that he won't let me install Firefox? He thinks it's some kind of pirate software that's less secure than IE.

that sounds like a sys admin i know; he thinks adaware is adaware so he wont install it and he thinks spybot is spyware so again he wont install it. they have all kinds of crap over there MyWeb IE Bars etc. Numerous random reboots but he wont do anything.
Oh and just the other day the MD just spread the Beagle worm through the whole office

i want that sys admins job...

but they make up for it with all the experience and all the new systems they're buyin aatm which i can learn ;D

infact im sorta qualified, got a degree in comp sci , software engineering type area.
