Sub-menu delay

Hi

Can someone please tell me how to edit the time it takes for all sub-menus to open. For example, the sub-menus in the start menu. I seem to have done something to the settings, whereby it pops up real fast, and I want it to go back to "normal". Also, if anyone can tell me the default value, it'd be much appreciated.

well you can use any one of the tweaking programs (tweakUI x-setup etc.) to do it or you can go to the following registry key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\control panel\desktop

and change the value of the MenuShowDelay to a higher number (in milliseconds) I think the default was 400??
