Stupid Java issue AGAIN!!

Getting the same problem as before.
go to open for example the java web start, and this is what happens

and no its not my desktop background, the black and white bars are the side effect from opening the java web start.

solutions ??????????
plz help.

Do you have MS Visual InterDev 6 installed? I had some issues with it and the latest Sun Java releases. I had to uninstall the MS stuff to get Java to install right, then reinstall.
