My probem is with Windows XP if I try to Reboot my computer it goes through the regular bios screen then says to insert a bootable disk because it can`t find the hard drives .. I have to turn off the power on the computer to restart it then it boots right up ok. Any ideas out there what could cause this? You can email me at glorydays@ameritech.net

I'm only going to guess on this because I've had similar experiences. I think something on the motherboard itself is weirding out. You might check and see if there are any bios updates that address the issue.

might be a lost cmos error, it happens on some motherboards i've
read about.

Set your bios back to there default settings then reboot!

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
