Stop Error

When I install XP update 811493 I get a Stop Error 0X0000008E. I have 3 XP machines and 2 of them work fine with 811493 installed but it crashes the PC described in my sig every time. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks, Enyo, but this is the 4th time I'vr tried it with the same result. This machine works like a dream til I install that patch.

PsycoGeek found the solution for me, I was running a modified ntoskrnl for boot screens and this update modifies the kernel. It's fixed now.
