Stipred RAID array gaming question

Hi Guys,

I would like to know if moving to a striped RAID array would be better for gaming. Better as in I could crank up the resolution and/or AA. Or will it just be responsive? I am running a single 7200 8MegCache 60 Gigger right now. I am wondering if it would benefit me to move to a striped array of 2x60's.

Or would it be better to get more RAM.

Which would be better bang for the buck.

the raid array wouldn't enable you to increase any of the settings for game play...it might load levels faster...but a striped array is really designed to give better write performance.

i'd get more ram.

I'm guessing RAM would help much more then HD speed. I remember how much smoother SWG was after bumping my RAM from 512 to 1GB
