Steam help

How can i get steam off of my startup list it isnt in steams options and im not sure where to go to remove it. Im running winXP pro

this is what i did i think..... go to start - run - type in "msconfig" then go to "start up" tab then uncheck steam or valve or w/e

if you right click on the steam icon in taskbar by your clock go to settings and one of the settings is to start steam when windows starts uncheck that option. Then you are good to go.

alright thanks...dont remember seeing the start at windows thing so i must of just skipped over it
