Statbar network accuracy

Do any of u guyz know how accurate statbar is when it displays the network activity?

And if someone has hacked my computer (bypassing Norton Firewall 2002) how do i figure out who it is and how do i stopem!?!

I am a novice at networking so explain stuff in simple terms!

You will always have some network activity even when your not doing anything, just the way the internet is, especially if you use a cable modem. If someone hacks your computer and gets by norton...you must of had something they really wanted...and if they truly got by norton and didn't leave a log or anything there isn't much of a way you could find them

all you could do is look through your norton connections and look for something out of the ordinary and then you can trace it back to their ISP using a trace route, but then you have to contact the isp, only they would know who it was. hope that helps
