I took delivery of my new computer yesterday.
It comes with XP Home but I wasn't sure if it was pre-installed or not. An icon flashed "19 days to actiivate" so I popped in the XP disc, tapped in my code and followed the wizard.
XP appeared to be installing, only it kept warning me about two bits of NVidia software that it wasn't very happy about. I ignored the warnings and then went back and obeyed them, either way I'm stuck in this endless cycle of power down, power up, installl, error message, power down, etc., etc.
Any ideas on how I can improve on my brilliant start?
