is there any way to, when the computer starts, just have it directly start up my account without the welcome screen coming up, or the other dialog box which asks for a password.

ive removed my password, and taken the welcome screen off, but it still asks for a password, even though i dont have to enter anything, i just have to click 'ok'.

any ideas?

Users LogOn
If you don't like it :

If you want an Admin account, and no others, click on "Start" then click on "Run" -
and type « control userpasswords2 »

On the Users tab, clear the "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" check box and click "Apply".
A dialog will appear that asks you what user name and password should be used to logon automatically, Type in Administrator and your password click "OK".
AND you don't ever get prompted for a logon ...

check out more great tweaks in the attached file

:D

 that is the easyist + best way of doing it:cool:

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
