Start Menu Speed

I dont know if this is true or not but i heard from a friend there is an option in windows that speeds up the start menu. Like when putting the mouse over an application !! The time it takes to show up.

Is this true ??? If so where do i go to get this option ????

or is this just the speed of your cpu ??

The option appears in the TweakUI utility under the Mouse tab. It's the menu setting. I don't know of another way to do it.

If you prefer to do it yourself, you can go to Start - Run - Regedit and navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/Desktop

Double click on MenuShowDelay and set it to 100 for a faster speed or as low as 0 for instanteous response.
