Back in the bad old days of Win98, one could easily add folders, move files and folders around on the Start Menu to "tidy" things up and not have a Start Menu that was 3 to 4 miles high.

However, in XP I am finding this a little harder to acheive. Is there an easy way?

I have tried converting the Start Menu to Classic View and trying that way but it doesn't appear to show all the files, and dragging and dropping on the XP View doesn't seem to want to work either - I can drag but not drop!!

Any ideas???

Cheers :D

Yesser! LOL :D . (might be the only two points i get today)

Using Windows Explorer, go to Documents and settings> Your_user_name> Start Menu. That will give you the old 98 look and feel. Don't forget that "All Users" account in your housecleaning either.

Aaahh Magoo - You've done it again...... LOL :D

Thanks Lonman, score another point towards Legend status!!!!

Cheers!

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
