Start button size?

Morning,

I've been working with the start button tweak and have gotten things pretty much the way I want them but still have a couple questions...

First of all, I was able to change the Start Menu border and the Start button text, but not the start button .bmp. Do this .bmp have to be an exact size in order to work?

Secondly, I originally wanted to change the WHOLE start button. Just completely replace it with a new .bmp. Is this possible using the tweak tutorial on this site, or...?

Thanks for the tip. The article you linked was the one I used to walk through the process initially.

I discovered the problem... Under the 'Appearence' tab I was running Windows Classic Style. When I switched to XP the start button .bmp changed. Does anyone which .bmp needs to be changed in order to affect the start button in Classic Style?

Figured it out finally...

If you want to change the .bmp on the start button while running Classic Style in XP, use Resource Hacker and replace .bmp 176 in explorer.exe
