Does anyone know any branded high profile network cards that work out of the box with the current Vista builds?

The one on my motherboard has gone pete tong and a 3com I tried from work isn't getting anywhere and the last drivers for it on the 3com site were released 4 years ago (great).

There are XP drivers, but I need Vista ones - but there are none.
So I wanna buy a good nic that is confirmed to work with Vista.

I haven't seen any manufacturers that are branding or supplying driver support for Vista as of yet out of the box, but things can always be played with. I know you are an Nvidia man yourself, the machine you are working with doesn't have the nforce chipset I assume?

nvidia on board,

Marvell Yukon,

Broadcom,

Intel,

3Com (3c905*) all work with vista

my test rig is a via rig with a build on realtek I think, but I am getting nothing out of it so need a seperate standalone.

Will check around some online retailers today and see if I can find anything with those chipsets or controllers.

Nice :)
Might try 32bit Vista first actually, might be in there for some reason.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
