ok here is one for you. we have a backup VM machine at the moment. and i cant access the mail server from just it. i cant ssh to the mail server from it eaither. also i can ping the mail server. just cant log in or send mail.
yet from the mail server i can get to the vm machine.
im kinda new at sendmail and anything advanced with ssh is unknown to me but im learning today.
anyone got any ideas to where i should start looking??
Oh and on the mail server. watching the messages log. nothing comes in when trying to ssh from the VM machine. so i think its just local to the VM machine.
