sRGB what is it ?

anyone here know what the sRGB setting is for on tvs,just found it on mine and it does make things look a lot lighter, its an lcd tv connect from the pc to the tv via a dvi to hdmi cable.

i have found a few wiki entries about it, just wondering what it is and is it worth using. it does make the display look very bright, and clear

It's just a colour profile. Most digital displays use sRGB 🙂
