Spyware Sux

<C>PLEASE HELP!</C>

<P>Okay, so I got stupid frickin' spyware on my comp, so I did the most logical thing: Dumped everything useful onto my external HDD (this took several days to get done, since the darned spyware ate up all my virtual memory) and formatted the drive, reinstalled windows, and started installing progs again. I got about halfway, and I got it again from the same damned webpage (I know I know, OFU). Anyway, I REALLY don't want to format and install all over again... Can someone help?</P>

That log looks OK, but you need to update to SP2.

While it is strongly recommended, SP2 is not a required upgrade. If, for some reason he doesn't want to use it (possible, but not likely), he can get by just fine with proper computer maintenance, anti-virus protection and intelligent web surfing.

SP2 is a required upgrade, I can't think of one reason why they should not. Lacking SP2 usually only means that they are behind in updates period. I don't really think it is a good idea to recommend that users do not get all critical windows updates.
