my friend's brother toke control over his computer with spftware that gets passwords and other crap i think. is there any program i can get that would clean out the all the bad crap and such. he has windows 98. thanks in advanced.

thanks for the reply but that wasnt what i was looking for. my friends brother is using hacker tools or something to get his password for AOL. he said he doesnt use a key logger but to make sure i want to know if there is a program that can detect stealth programs like key loggers. thanks.

Have you checked the Processes in Task Manager to see if there's anything dogdy running in the background?

Also you may want to obtain "TDS-3" which will detect and remove these kind of parasites. It may also be a nice idea to do a sweep with a decent AV. I recommend "KAV". (www.kav.ch)

If you generate the logs you either attach them here, come into IRC and ill go over them with you or mail them to me
