Splitting a 700mb DivX AVI in two!!

Anyone know of a utility that can split up DIVx or standard AVI's into smaller files or to cut sections out (i.e. credits from a film/music video)

I think VCDCutter does that. Here is the link so you can download it. I used it to cut mpgs a few times. Worked for me.
