split an mp4 file

i have an mp4 file that i want to put onto 2 cds so i can watch it on my dvd player. how do i split it up?

I would personally use Quicktime 6.5 Pro to do it since it can handle the MP4 files without having to convert them. But, you could try searching at www.dvdrhelp.com for some DivX editors which should be able to cut MP4 as well.
