Spacer in Start Menu

OSNN Veteran Original
In classic start menu, you have the normal stuff, Program Files, etc on the bottom, and then a spacer, and stuff on top...

how do u remove spacers within the startmenu?

Simply move everything from
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Start Menu
into the programs folder.

Also look in
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu
Basically everything located in the Start Menu folder is shown at the top and everything in the Programs Folder is shown underneath.

Yes, but I don't want them to be the same thing, I just want the spacer gone....there are 2

I don't believe so, I'm pretty sure alONG time ago, I seen someone have it all tweaked out, I just don't know how to do it.

Well technically, im using a theme, but classic start menu isn't part of a theme.

Umm, I know people have removed it, frig. Ummm

You're using a visual style (.MSSTYLES). The theme file (.THEME) only applies the visual style and a combination of other things. The classic start menu is included with the visual style.

oh well then...I understand what your saying....

I guess I should find a tweaking forum, cause I'm 100% sure there is away to remove this spacers. I thought someone on here did it before, I must of be mistaken. Hmmm

Why didn't ya say that before, but where in .MSTYLES

oh wait thats not the way I was thinking of, but I'll give it a shot.
