soundstorm, rear speakers not working?

hey i'm just using a 2.1 setup, but also plugging my stereo into the rear speaker output, everything was working ok, dono what the hell i did.. playing around with something, now the rear speakers (stereo) gets nothing....

(motherboard = nf7-s)

i'm sure i've set everything ok, maybe someone here has experince with it and knows what's up

it's a big pain in the ass

hrm.. well actually it's not that they aren't working, coz they work fine if i click test...
but they used to just kinda copy the front speakers, now i guess they're waiting for special surround audio?

try the applications tab... Multimedia Control Panel > Volume > Speaker Settings - Advanced

is it on Quadraphonic Speakers ??

Some applications (Winamp) don't use DirectSound by default causing stereo output only on some sound systems. These resources helped me to set mine up properly.
