I'm possibly the only person I know who'd actually like to make use of the speaker in my PC case...you know, the one that beeps when you startup?

The thing is, my sound card is hooked up to a 5.1 surround system with an amplifier that I don't like to leave on all the time. So at the moment I have system sounds disabled...

Does anyone know how I can route sound through my PC case speaker?

i think it would be interesting to be able to use that internal speaker for something other than the annoying beep..

I very much doubt you can do this as the internal speaker obviously bypasses teh soundcard completely..

I also get reassured by that little beep on startup ;)

ya, i think the system speaker is mainly for diagnostic purposes.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
