Hi, i was wondering if someone could suggest a good sound card. im thinking of upgrading my current one. and also if there is any difference gain from upgrading?

thanx, pegusus

It just depends on what your upgrading from. Some soundcards use less CPU time then others since they don't have to offload their processes. I personally use the Soundblaster Audigy and have never had toruble with it (alot of people have at times though) but if you don't like creative you can always try the hercules game theater another great card.

i use the phillips accoustic edge 706 ,great sound,no problems!

I also recommend the Audigy card. Very good care, and it carries a very good price. I am running 5.1 and it sounds awesome.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
