Sound Card Playback ?

I'm not sure what other use this may have but in a chatroom people are able to play sound through their sound card without having a mic and also it provides as a way to get best possible sound over the net, this does prevent other from hearing you.

They refer to it as reversing your sound card.

I've had people tell me try using the Stereo Mix option under Recording Control properties but it doesn't work.

Any ideas on how to do this?

Try taking a stereo headphone connector with plugs on both ends, and connecting one to your speaker output and the other to your microphone input on your sound card. You'll have to play around with the volume settings a bit until you get clear, undistorted sound. That's what I did with my computer.
