Sound blasters problem

Hi,
I have had xp on this computer for about 3 weeks. I bought !plus for my other computer to cure the speakers not working problem but over here on my 1.7 ghz pent 4, creative sound blasters pci card and boston speakers it didn't work. I uninstalled the drivers and everythnig soundblaster live related. i then booted everything back onto my comp from the cd. although it didn't fix the problem. When i go to windows updates, for drivers the sound blaster driver is not listed there for me. Do you know where to download a new driver so i can obtain sound? or how to cure this problem?

try

changing PCI slots. my roomate had the same problem. i moved his card and it worked... go figure.

Which Sound Blaser card do you have..Need more info...

im not exactly sure its Creative Sound Blasters Live! then something with an a i think. i am at my other comp now with the sound working but still am confused about the other. its a pci card too
