Something scary on the Logitech Z5500 control pod....

With my wonderfull hissless soundcard I was playing with the volume knob on the control pod.

I turned it up full.

I kept turning just for the hell of it.

After a second or two the display changed.

It counted from "Boost 1" to "Boost 11".

Is that ever going to be scary loud.

Thats like "Holy ****! Do they think I'm stupid???"

Yeah, I heard about that. I never turn mine up past 2 - 4 complete blocks. I cant imagine getting it that loud. Thats like... 20 - 31 blocks?

I have it up higher for headphones, but much higher than 4 or 5 blocks is unconfortable when not using headphones.

I don't have this anymore but used to - performed similar experiment and was rather scared when I tried to play music through it 😛
