SOF error

hi, i've been having problems installing SOF GOLD ... it doesnt even install ... it used to work fine b4, i dunno whats up

Looks like a bad cd to me. But then again XP is very iffy about games.

I think Antallica is right, the cd is probably damaged. Maybe someone can answer my following questions about SOF.

When i'm in the 3rd mission and just past the crappy sequency with Hawk (talking together) the screen stays black, I can only see my cursor and hear everything but the game stays black. Even if you restart it.

I tried to get the latest patch but it keeps saying that I don't have to patch.

Any help would be greatlly appreciated.

its a pain but try copying all the cd to your hard drive and install from there. Patch it if necessary to 1.7 I think.. and you wont need the cd for play.
then after install just delete the files from the cd.
