small ICON problemo

hi i use iconpackager to replace my stupid xp icons with awesome ones. and i was just wondering why my internet explorer icon won't get replaced? my cousin has the same problem....

Do you mean the one on the start menu?

K then, "remove from this list", or "unpin it". Then, go to the IE folder and right click the exe and select "send to desktop, create shortcut".

Right click this one, and drag it to your start button. Then, re-pin it to your start menu.

Well, just do the same thing. Delete it, and create a new one in the same manner!

Course, you might also check its attributes (read only). If it is set as such, just uncheck that box.

Right click icon/properties/general tab.

nevermind i used my wit and figured it out. you go to desktop, properties, desktop, then customize or something then u check IE
