Small Announcements on Website

Hello,

I have come across a slight problem, I am looking for some code/software that would 'announce' some information to the top-right hand corner (etc) of my website, such as "Restarts 10 minutes" - I cannot seem to find any examples of this, but I have seen it. Also, due to my lack of knowledge in coding and websites, it might be simple. (I have searched for any clues linking to it).

What is your site running? (ex. - Wordpress, Joomla, drupal) Depending on what it is you might be able to just find a plugin.

Currently running Wordpress - did not think about plugins, would be awesome if you could find one.

I just went to wordpress.com and put in "announcement" in the plugins search and found this - Simple "Coming soon" And "Under construction". Not sure if that is anything like you want but it looked interesting. 🙂

That is not quite what I was wanting, the feature does not restrict any user on the website, it just gives information such as "High Server Load" on the top right corner. But that plugin you mention will come in handy, so thanks.
