I got my aunts laptop with windows 7. When it starts it says windows is loading files and then it goes to a desktop wallpaper for along time then starts to scan to fix windows. I waited 3 hours and it still doesn't do anything but search. I can't boot into any type of safe mode it just does the same thing.

Any clues? She doesn't have a windows 7 cd because she lost it.

Never mind

Did a HD test and got a error code that ended up saying online that the HD is bad. Sad its only 6 months old and already bad HD.

HDD's will either die in the first 6-12 months or last longer than you :D

As for reloading windows 7 - as long as you have a valid key just grab an untouched MSDN iso from somewhere :)

Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS

Been running around Quora lately, luv it there https://tinyurl.com/ycpxl
