Im a linux newbie, but wanted to play so installed Slackware 8.1 as dual boot with xp home on my Sony Vaio PCG-FX805, all seems well except for a small problem with X.... My desktop seems to be about twice the size of my display and I have to scroll around, any ideas?

640x480 was first in the xf86config file, doh!

Slackware is a very cool distro ... have some fun with it
