Hi Guys,

My CD's are skipping, both origianls and burnt on both my drives (CD and CDburner)

I have gone into my device manager and checked off my digital playbacks for both, then selected "DMA if Available" in both my IDE channel properties. Is there something else I could try?

Oh yeah, I even tried lens cleaning cd's (with the solution bottle)

Forgot to mention that

do you have something running that is eating a bunch of cpu cycles or is trying to write to the hdd?

That Is what I first thought, actually, Dreamliner

But I looked at the task manager while it is happening, and it barely registers. Even the ram doesn't show nothing significant

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
