Simple question - CD burning

Hi all
I've had Xp for a month so still learning a lot !

Have a CD writer so wish to make personal compilation CDs. Tried to copy varios tracks to HD then burn from there but only copied shortcuts, thus could not transfer files. Other CD rippers do not seem to provide simple CDA to CDA copying.

Any advice?

Cheers

the easiest way to copy cds (either audio or data) is to build an image of the cd on ur hard drive and then burn the image onto the cds.
Most burning software will allow u to build an image (i reccomend Nero personally).

Hope this helps

I agree with Silent Bob. Nero is good, especially for audio.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
