Simple content update

I am (yet again) setting up a site, a very simple site, for some folks. You can see the Beta (very early) here and I am about to implement something so that there can be minimal CMS capability. I want to keep it very simple. So the only updated page will be the one that links to a document which has a newsletter format, or similar, with the current news.

Anyone have any particular recommendations for a simple script? I'd like to keep it so simple that the updater just needs to click a link and enter a password - from which I suppose either a file upload or a web updating page are options.

I've toyed around with a few thoughts varying from phpMyadmin (no) to WordPress or similar (more than needed). I did search here too - nothing useful found yet. I shall update here when I make my selection even if I do not hear back....

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
